I’m new to your channel, but I’m in awe of you and feel like just listening to you could make me a better writer. I was working on a screenplay last year until I experienced a significant loss in my life, but even before that, there was so much anxiety built around writing and not feeling talented/good enough that it became too easy to abandon everything. But I hope I find it in me to write again. I WISH the writers/producers of the show would create a focus group with people like you and fans of the books for feedback. Obviously you can’t make everyone happy, but there’s been so much common feedback like much of what you mentioned on here that I HOPE it’s made its way to them so they can keep it in mind for the next season.

Am I the only one who guessed the twist and was disappointed it was so obvious?? I mean they literally showed the guy switching the drinks…

You need to tell me when you gave Colin that nickname! It's hilarious. I'm going from newer to older video order and he already has it!!!!! When did he get it? Season 2? I now just wait for you to call him that.

Maybe instead of having their season now, they should have pushed their season further back? Maybe during other main character love stories we could have seen Colin and Penelope grow closer, being cute and just before their season (the finale of the previous season) Colin discovers Penelope is Mrs whistledown?

Honestly Jess needs to be FIRED! She ruined season three and the books characters 🤷🏾‍♀️

The songs are to modern for this era where are the 50'60' feel it feels all wrong it just doesn't fit . Shame as it all looks good i do like it but the songs just doesn't fit its a miss match should of made a more modern looking show instead of trying to use the grease name and look of it

Would i have liked a couple changes here and there to the polin storyline this season? Yes. Am i satisfied with the season as it is and enjoyed it still? Hell yeah. I feel like my complaints aren’t even related to polin, they are related to the jam packed storylines of the season. I could have done without the mondriches because honestly WHAT WAS THE POINT? And i could have also done without the lord anderson/lady dambury fight for several episodes. Also, the queen became pointless lol. If they had deleted the mondriches and the stupid lord anderson bs, we could have had more polin or more francesca and john, or even more benedict in that week long threesome lol. I also genuinely find the queen pointless now, like… delete the queen and hardly anything changes still, because pen would still be outing herself because of cressida, so who cares about the queen? Time for her to d*e, like in history

I didn’t like Colin in 1&2 but now after s3 I never fell in love with him as an individual. As I did with Anthony. Colin is just mid to me tbh.

Season 4 has to beat season 2 romance. Lots of other complaints but tired of talking about them about the show tbh

To be honest, both of 'em bad. Book colin started to release her after she lost weight and she was still "ohhh colin you're so perfect". And show colin decided to be a f-boy out of blue. Beside that, their relationship could be better but it was so rushed so that i couldn't feel anything for them. So empty... The show is simply a word salad. They told us but didn't show. Sincerity left out of the window. Disapointed a lot.

Would love for you to read Francesca's book! Her LI is my favorite in the whole series. I'm not entirely upset about the genderswap they did, but that mostly has to do with the fact that I've essentially started thinking of the show was an entirely different thing from the books. It's just fanfiction of the books turned into a tv series for me.

The fact that he used what would hurt her the most ( the distance, the rejection, the bullying and curt words) to get back at her for being Whistledown essentially made him a villan instead of a romantic lead. Especially because to me his Whistledown anger is wholy misplaced. He felt so foolish for the Marina situation he decided to place the blame on Whistledown and not himself. Later he just finds reasons to hate her more (i.e. Eloise). Nevermind that Whistheldown is always saving his family from ruin. Nop. That means nothing. Anyways, I digress.

Okay, but the montage at the end - the willow tree scene and the cake scene were everything! We should've gotten so much more of that: the longing, the awkwardness, the flustering. We definitely had higher expectations for this season, due to the previous seasons build up, but netflix also definitely underdelivered with all the side stories and bad writing/editing
